About OutfitterHQ

OutfitterHQ is day-to-day scheduling for boat rental outfitters — the digital wall for named boats. It keeps a promise true: these boats are on this trip for these days, they fit, they're in service, and if they have to move, you can see the work.

Most booking software is built for your customers. OutfitterHQ is built for you: the person answering the phone at 7 AM.

Who builds it

OutfitterHQ is built by Daniel Visca and Janis. Janis has spent years in Ontario’s outdoor community. Daniel is a software engineer who grew up around outfitters and watched the same scheduling problems every summer — the pencil marks, the phone tag, the “I thought that boat was at Bell Lake” moment.

We build alongside real outfitters as partners — not only as a target market. First partner class: Killarney-class Ontario outfitting ops. Built with them, not merely for them.

What we believe

  • Named boats and real lakes are the unit of work — not anonymous “4 at 10 AM” slots
  • Phone and walk-in are first-class; online booking shares the same truth
  • Software should cut delivery driving, not invent utilization theater
  • Pricing should not punish you for training staff (no per-seat tax)
  • AI may propose setup from your rate sheet; a human always applies money and legal settings
  • Your data and your rental revenue are yours
