How to set trucks and trailers
How many boats fit on a trailer, and how many loads you can run the same morning. New bookings and Optimize use the sizes so they don't invent another trip.
Steps
- Open Settings → Trucks & trailers.
- Optional: fill How many trucks (loads you can run the same morning before it hurts). Leave blank to ignore that.
- Add a trailer for each hitch you have. Two of the same size? Add two rows.
- Set Usual boats (a normal load) and Max boats (tighter). Max only runs when it avoids another hitch.
- Save. New recommendations and Optimize use the list. Leave every trailer off and we still count one boat per run.
Limits
- We do not route the truck (stop order / drive times).
- Packing does not split the In & Out sheet into trailer rows.
