How to set boat types and rates

Types are the products you sell: Swift Keewaydin 17', tandem sea kayak, SUP. Rates live on the type (and packages separately).

Steps

1. Open Boat types under What you offer.
2. Name the product the way the rate sheet does — not “Canoe” alone if you have three canoe models.
3. Set category (Canoe / Kayak / SUP / Gear / Other), capacity, daily rate or rate rule.
4. Save. Repeat per model.

Limits

• Gear you rent (tents) is a type with category Gear, pooled — not a hull.
• Included paddles are gear types linked by inclusions; see gear and inclusions.
