In & Out sheet (deliveries)
If your boats live at one base but your customers paddle six lakes, delivery logistics are half your job. OutfitterHQ generates them instead of making you track them.
How deliveries are created
You don't enter deliveries by hand. When a booking's Delivery box is on, the app schedules a truck for the hulls that are not already at the start lake. Pickup does the same after the trip for hulls whose home is not the exit. The boxes tick themselves from those locations; uncheck if you are leaving a boat or skipping the truck — the form says you overrode it.
- Delivery — get the boat to the customer's starting lake before the trip.
- Pickup — retrieve it after the trip (unless the access point allows leaving boats, in which case the app knows it can stay).
- Shuttle — reposition between bookings.
Edit the booking and the deliveries update themselves; cancel it and they disappear.
The In & Out sheet
In & Out (/deliveries) is the daily paper-style sheet: Splashing today
(trips starting) and Returning today (trips ending), with Name, Boat #,
Model, Access point, and Notes. Walk-ups show with blank notes; truck work
shows as "Deliver for 3:00 PM" / "Pick up" with a Complete button. Print when
you need a clipboard copy.
Fewer deliveries in the first place
The best delivery is one that never happens. The assignment engine picks boats already at (or near) the customer's lake whenever it can, and the delivery fee is per boat that actually needs the truck.
